“Participating in the 1st ever LUEY event was an experience I will always remember. In 5 short weeks I became a ballroom dancer and performed in front of a live audience. I moved my body in ways that it has never gone before and I had blast doing it. My instructor, Stan, was extremely patient as well as creative. He choreographed a routine that made it look like I actually knew what I was doing. After the performance we spent the rest of the evening danceing the night away. I will definitly be in attendance next year “
Megan Clementi –Miss Volusia County 2008

The LUEY!... Judy Conrad, the event chair, produced this incredibly successful event. Judy, a Life Coaching client, recruited me last year or should I say, persuaded me to do this event. Ha-Ha. Wow, I am so glad she did! I have been involved  in helping our community for well over 15 years as a volunteer, and as past chair for the American Cancer Society and even produced a past event.

This was like no other!
The professional Cindie Marino, of  Marino/TC Dance Club, was patient, fantastic, and really knew how to make me confident about my lack of experience. She easily knew how to make me feel good about ball room dancing! I truly felt like a star from the get go.

Each person that I told about the event was very interested in hearing more, and the businesses I spoke to, in order to help support the event, were all motivated to give and get involved! Any business who donated to this event knew this was the charity event of the year! The public relations and marketing potential  this event created for each business was, and is, clearly rare. The opportunity to be exposed to a fantastic target market of possible new business was impressive, and this is coming from someone who has worked in both marketing and public relations. This charity event was, and is… HOT,HOT,HOT!!
